MRWC is pleased to announce that Debra Rosner has been named as the new outdoor trainer for the River-Lab program. Rosner replaces long-time trainer Alex Moran. Moran will continue to be active with both River-Lab and the Garden Expo.

The outdoor guide trainer is responsible for teaching the information to the new guides for each grade level—grades 3 through 6—to enable them to teach the children out on their study-trip to the river or estuary. Rosner has been involved with the River-Lab program for many years as a guide and school captain.

Seventh Annual Garden Expo

The sevetnh Garden Expo was held March 19 and 20 at the ecently renovated Fairfield Ludlowe High School. The Garden Expo featured nearly eighty exhibitors, plus exciting guest authors, lectures and demonstrations. With arts, crafts and products for the home and garden, The Garden Expo provided an educational and entertaining weekend while raising funds to benefit River-Lab. Organizers for this event were Karen Deakins, Gay Gasser, Alex Moran and Anne Weinrod. The eigth annual Garden Expo will be held March 18 and 19 at Fairfield Ludlowe High School, Fairfield, Connecticut.
