MRWC is honored to present two awards this year.  Tom Steinke, Fairfield Conservation Director, will receive a Recognition Award for his 25+ years as Outstanding Friend and Environmental Advisor.  Ellen Moore will receive an Outstanding Volunteer award for her countless years as volunteer, board member, guide and trainer.

MRWC was founded in 1967 to strengthen environmental education. River-Lab is part of the Fairfield Science Curriculum as a unique hands-on program of environmental study for grades 3-6.
